We’re Erin and Brandon Schaeffer, proud owners of Caring Transitions of Federal Way & West Bellevue. Our service areas include Burien, Normandy Park, Des Moines, Bryn Mawr, Renton, Tukwila, Federal Way, and Kirkland, places where we’ve built roots, relationships, and a strong connection to the Pacific Northwest community we call home.

After spending 23 years in corporate communications, focused on employee engagement and connection, I (Erin) realized it was time for a new chapter, one that allowed for a more personal kind of impact. I’ve always been drawn to storytelling and sustainability, and Caring Transitions allows me to lean into both. Every item we help repurpose has a story, and every client we work with is writing a new chapter in their life. Supporting a circular economy, keeping useful things out of landfills, and making meaningful one-on-one connections is at the heart of what we do.

Brandon and I are excited to run this business together while raising our two children and continuing to serve the communities we know and love. We were fortunate to purchase a territory where we have long-standing ties, and we’re committed to providing the kind of service that reflects both care and capability. This business gives us the flexibility to build a supportive team and foster work that matters, whether that means hiring working parents, artists, or others looking for meaningful, people-focused roles.
